Now that you have successfully completed cancer treatments, finding a sense of normalcy in your everyday life has become even more of a priority. One area that often gets dismissed is pelvic health. All too often, women feel as though vaginal issues are a taboo subject of conversation. However, it is important that you feel comfortable discussing these with your significant other and health professionals. Join Amanda Phelps-Jones, WHNP-BC, with the Pelvic Health and Wellness Center at The Women’s Hospital as she discusses common post-cancer treatment issues such as vaginal dryness, painful intercourse, incontinence and prolapse and the treatment options available. Tuesday, June 20th, 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm. Lunch will be provided.
